Accessibility at Bumpsale
Fair pricing means the door is open to everyone, and that includes the site itself. In August 2026 we audited bumpsale.com against WCAG 2.1 AA, fixed what the audit found, and wrote this page from the results rather than from good intentions.
Keyboard first
A skip-to-content link on every page, a visible focus outline site-wide, and menus you can drive with arrow keys, Home, End, and Escape.
Forms that speak
Every field has a real label, password rules are announced before you type, and errors are read aloud next to the field they belong to, not just flashed as a toast.
Contrast that passes
Text, buttons, and links across the site meet the WCAG AA contrast floor, checked value by value against our own theme, and our emails go through the same check.
Motion that asks first
Animations, including the launch-checklist rocket and the dashboard tour, stand down when your device asks for reduced motion.
Announcements that arrive
Toasts are read politely by screen readers, copy buttons say "copied," and choices in the campaign wizard expose which option is selected.
Honest images and tables
Images carry real descriptions or are marked decorative, and comparison tables use proper table semantics so they read as tables, not soup.
What we know isn't finished. Some page content is written in our editor rather than in code, so its image descriptions and heading order depend on us staying disciplined when we publish. The site currently ships one light theme. And an audit is a snapshot: new features can introduce new problems, which is why this page carries a date.
If something is in your way, tell us. Open a ticket from your dashboard support desk or use the contact form. A real person reads every message, and accessibility reports go to the top of the pile.
